* Physical requirements of this role include:
- Ability to constantly position oneself to stand, stoop, reach or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently operate a vehicle
This position is scheduled as follows:
M - F 7:30am - 5:30pm & every 3rd Saturday 8am-5pm
JOB SUMMARY
As a detail technician, you will play an essential role in keeping our company vehicles and customer vehicles in pristine condition. The detail technician is responsible for cleaning loaner vehicles, lot vehicles, collision center vehicles and customer vehicles. You will also be responsible for keeping your area clean and organized. Detail technicians make their own repair orders and are paid on commission.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (A TYPICAL DAY)
- Wash, wax, and buff customer vehicles, lot vehicles, and loaner vehicles
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
- Create accurate repair order for each detail
- Operate all tools in a safe manner
- Report any safety issues immediately to management
- Understand and deliver on specific customer needs
- Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead detail technician or the service manager

- Must have at least 1 year of detail experience (including buffing)
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Team oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
