Job Description

Title: DG BOSS: Roofer + Responsible for planning/configuring, installations, repairing and replacing roofing including conventional, inverted built-up, single-ply and two-ply modified. + Responsible for installations, repairing and replacing roofing including conventional, inverted built-up, single-ply and two-ply modified. Using materials, such as wood, brick, asphalt, tar, shingles, slate, aluminum, bricks, and other appropriate materials. + Responsible in day to day associated tasks including damp, water, and weather- proofing, bind, insulate and seal openings in roofs installing and repairing slate, leadwork, guttering, tile and shingles, resurfacing roofs. + Inspects roofing for damage and performs any needed repairs. + Cleans work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary. + Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. + Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. + Performs other duties and activities as directed. Basic Qualifications + Considerable knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and methods utilized in roof repair and installation. + Knowledge of various roofing materials and standard specifications for different roof types. + Must be able to read, interpret blueprints and design and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions. + Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing, or walking. + Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment. + Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. + Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. + Must have a valid country of origin's driver's license. Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING + Any roofing certification/s is highly desired. EDUCATION: + Must be at least High School, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required. EXPERIENCE: + Must have at least three (3) years' experience in built up roofing job or other related scope of work.
