A bit about us : We’re a warm, creative family based in Redmond who recently welcomed our first child, a sweet baby born this summer. We’re looking for a loving and experienced nanny to support us as we transition back to work. Our family values music, art, time outdoors, and a cozy home life. We’re hoping to find a nanny who can partner with us for the next 6-18 months, helping our little one grow and thrive during these early milestones.
A bit about you : You’re highly experienced with infants and confident in guiding first-time parents through milestones and cues. Patience, creativity, and trustworthiness are qualities that define you, and you genuinely enjoy planning developmental activities rather than relying solely on naps and downtime. You’re communicative and reliable, with an understanding of how to balance nurturing care with structure.
Job Duties : The role is focused on attentive infant care, including feeding, naps, and age-appropriate developmental play. You’ll support baby-related household tasks such as tidying after play, cleaning bottles, and doing baby’s laundry as needed. Outings to local parks or activities may be part of the routine, and having a car would make these easier, though it’s not a requirement. No responsibilities are needed for the family’s two cats, aside from being comfortable around them. Qualifications :
- 3+ years of infant care experience.
- Strong knowledge of infant milestones and cues.
- Covid-19 vaccination required.
- Excellent communication and reliability.
- Comfortable with parents working from home.
- Glowing references from recent nanny positions.
Set yourself apart :
- Ability to plan creative, engaging activities.
- Flexibility for occasional later shifts (e.g., 12–8 one day a week)
- Own car for outings to nearby parks and activities.
- Experience guiding new parents with confidence and reassurance.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
It would be a plus if you are open to the occasional later day shift (e.g., 12:00–8:00 p.m.) once a week.
Pay: $30–38/hr, DOE

Working Conditions and Requirements: - Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
- Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play
- Essential Physical Requirements:
- Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
- Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
- Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
- May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
