Inventory Specialist Temp-to-Hire | San Diego, CA
Job Summary:We are hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Inventory Specialist in San Diego, CA (92101) . This is a full-time, temp-to-hire role with a pay increase upon conversion to permanent employment .
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Flexibility required between 6:30 AM 5:00 PM when needed
Location: Main site in San Diego, occasional support at 4200 Ruffin Rd. during inventory (2 3 times per year)

Looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated candidates
Receive, unload, label, and properly store incoming goods, tools, and equipment
Maintain accurate inventory records in manual and computerized systems
Issue and track tools, products, and materials for site employees
Conduct cycle counts and prepare detailed inventory reports
Keep storeroom organized to ensure maximum efficiency and safety
Deliver supplies and equipment to work locations when needed
Track misplaced inventory and resolve discrepancies
Inspect, maintain, and report equipment or tool issues
Perform related duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3+ months of experience in warehousing, inventory, or storeroom operations (picking, packing, loading, stocking, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for most of the shift
Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry, inventory management systems)
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and manuals
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation required
Preferred but not required: forklift experience, vending machine stocking experience, or technical aptitude
Temp-to-hire with pay increase upon conversion
Stable Monday Friday schedule
