Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Medical Receptionist to join our team in Oakland, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth front-office operations and delivering excellent service to patients. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment. Responsibilities: - Answer and manage incoming calls, handling approximately 24-31 calls daily with professionalism and efficiency. - Welcome patients warmly, assisting with check-in procedures and ensuring their needs are met. - Process and organize intake forms accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality. - Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments in coordination with clinic operations. - Perform general administrative duties to support two clinic locations, including travel between sites as needed. - Maintain familiarity with clinic regulations and insurance processes to provide accurate information. - Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency. - Uphold office organization by managing records, files, and other documentation. - Provide support with basic medical terminology and patient inquiries. - Utilize Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, if applicable.
