Nurse Practitioner (Women's Health) OR Midwife Freeport NY (S Shore of LI)
Outpatient coverage only
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Midwife to join our practice full time in the Freeport, NY Long Island area. The incoming nurse practitioner/midwife must be compassionate, an excellent clinician, and someone who is experienced in women's health. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group, and the incoming Nurse practitioner/Midwife will be focusing on women's health. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). We have multiple locations throughout Long Island, and the incoming provider may be covering multiple outpatient locations.

Duties:
-Patient exam/evaluations (physical exam, review pertinent medical history/records/imaging) Annual wellness exam
-Order/review diagnostic testing/labs/bloodwork
-Perform Pap smears, preferred Colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, removal of IUD
-Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
-Patient education re: diagnosis, treatment plan options and lifestyle modifications
-Treatments for acute and chronic conditions
-Documentation- timely and accurate
-Collaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient care
-Make phone calls/emails as needed or required for patient care
-Medication refills as needed
Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Midwife program
-Nurse Practitioner/Midwife license in NY
-Women's health experience required
-Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
Schedule:
-Full time
Compensation (range):
-$70-$90/hour (depending on experience and training/certifications)
