Etico Drywall is a leading contractor specializing in drywall and plastering solutions for both residential and commercial projects. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Estimator to join our dynamic team.

The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for drywall projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drywall installation, materials, labor requirements, and project timelines. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to assess project requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drywall materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to define scopes of work and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, costs, and trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Gather and evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiating terms and pricing as necessary.
• Develop and maintain a database of materials, labor rates, and vendor pricing for accurate cost assessments.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and clarify project details.
• Provide support in preparing proposals and tender submissions for potential projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate collaboration and communication.
• Assist in the review of contracts and change orders to ensure alignment with estimates and project scopes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Estimator
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation processes, materials, and relevant building codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Stack, PlanSwift) and Microsoft OfficeSuite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to produce accurate cost estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
