Job Description

Summary: This candidate will be a handling and preparing biological specimens for analysis. Experienced in data entry, sample routing, and use of automated lab instruments. Committed to accuracy, safety, and maintaining high productivity standards. Key Responsibilities: + Receive, unpack, and route specimens to correct staging areas + Identify and label specimens with precision + Use robotic liquid handling instruments for sample transfer + Pack and ship samples to appropriate testing facilities + Store excess specimen samples properly + Resolve and document discrepancies with problem specimens + Enter patient data quickly and accurately + Meet daily activity and production goals Skills: + Specimen processing + Sample accessioning + Data entry and patient record management + Biological specimen handling + Team collaboration + Microsoft Excel proficiency Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent + No prior experience required; 1-2 years preferred + Comfortable working with biological materials + Strong attention to detail and organization Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
