Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Sherman Oaks, California. As a key player in our organization, you will oversee tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for a diverse range of clients. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, non-profits, estates, and trusts. - Develop tailored tax planning strategies to meet the unique needs of clients across various industries. - Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development. - Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations and standards. - Represent clients during audits and inquiries conducted by federal and state tax authorities. - Stay informed about updates in tax laws and accounting standards to provide accurate advice. - Identify opportunities for tax savings and communicate actionable recommendations to clients. - Collaborate with clients to address tax-related challenges and deliver exceptional service. Requirements - Active CPA certification is required. - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit, trust, and estate returns. - Proficiency in tax software systems, with experience in CCH Axcess strongly preferred. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. - Exceptional analytical abilities and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
