The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

  • Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
  • Experience with implementing Enterprise Systems Integration projects.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.
  • Experience driving systems integration delivery projects from 3rd party vendors to delivery acceptance and project closure.
  • Experience with preparing and presenting executive level project communications, project tracking and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to create and maintain several project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register etc.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Responsible for project scope delivery adhering to and optimizing schedule, costs, and resources. Projects include TxDOT, partners, and third-party deliverables.
  • Acts as the counterpart for vendors program leader to ensure customer satisfaction and be the escalation point for service delivery activities.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.
  • Must be hands-on-project manager for multiple projects.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in managing all phases of large and complex technical projects.
  • 7 years of experience in creating and maintaining various project artifacts including; Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, etc.
  • 7 years of experience with general IT SDLC processes.
  • 7 years of experience in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
  • 7 years of experience being skilled in creating and presenting executive level project communications.
  • 7 years of experience being skilled in gathering requirements from business divisions.
  • 7 years of experience being skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.
  • 7 years of experience possessing strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.
  • 7 years of experience being skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external resources.
  • 7 years of experience being skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution.
  • 5 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies
  • CBAP and/or PMP certification is a plus
